sea turtles

Plastic is a threat to the sea turtles.
Plastic bags look like jellyfish.
The turtles try to eat the plastic. The plastic gets stuck in their tummies.
Plastic is a problem and is killing the turtles and sea life.

RWC PUZZLE

We created this because the World Cup was on.
We created this by answering questions which we found the information for on our class site.  We put the answers onto puzzle pieces, coloured them in, cut them out and then glued them onto black paper to make a rugby ball shaped puzzle.-

finding the area of a shape

WALT find the area of a shape in Square  centimetre.
we explored shades by covering then with square centimetres cubes and counting how many cubes it took to cover the shape.
We then drew shapes on grid paper and counted how many squares our shapes covered.
